The Aging and Youth Services Department (AYSD) is a Fulton County Agency that provides necessary services for individuals to maintain a level of self-sufficiency or have the ability to age in place and avoid institutionalization. Comprised of the Office of Aging and the Office of Children and Youth, AYSD renders vital programs and resources through the lens of a Cradle-to-Golden Years model. This model ensures that each vulnerable and at-risk child and youth has access to the essential services and programs that could increase their likelihood for improved economic opportunities in the future. It also guarantees that seniors and caregivers are aware and linked to cost effective care services and supports that promote longevity and independence during one’s golden years.
